Why won't site update

This is strange, normally when I update my site it takes effect right away. Today however my updates are not taking effect, the old version persists. Its not my cashe as I have cleared it many times, I first noticed it when making a test page for a site search, changes would not take effect only after creating a new page was I able to see the new published page. I then added a site search to my home page and as of 4 hours later it still has not updated. I have published more than 50 pages and know that it published correctly, so why won't the updates show?

Thats because the form changed it to index.php...when your index.html takes priority. Its updating JUST fine.. you just have to delete one of the indexes..
