error 12029

I have 2 questions
1.I recieved an account yesterday. I changed my DNS to vodahost today but I can't published my page. After I tried to publish, the BlueVoda said "internet exception error 12029, The attempt to connect to the server failed". I already turned off the window firewall. What should I do? Or I have to wait 72 hr before I can publish my site?
2.If I publish my site through BlueVoda, will all the pictures and movies in the page be uploaded or I have to upload it seperately?

What OS are you on? You still have a block somewhere. Right click on BV and choose run as administrator for Vista.

When you publish select ALL files.. this way they will all go up at once.

I use window vista, but I saw in the cpanel that the OS is Linux. I don't know how to change it.

No, karen doesnt mean any of that .. don't and you can't change anything in your voda host control panel ... blue voda is the software that you build your website with and publish it to voda host ...

Have you been successful? What is the url of your domain?

Karen is referring to changing the settings on your own computer.

Hi .. your voda host account is ready ... you can tell by typing in your domain name .. as well, like you say, your name servers are pointed correctly.

Your server and domain is just waiting for you to publish up an index page

as far as the 12029 error check other threads on the forum for solutions, every user can be different

Also, what karen is referring to is, in your start menu, right click on the blue voda program and choose run as administrator .. see if that helps as well ..
