    No images on website ??

I published my website for the first time but I don't see any images or photographs. Images show up as a frame with a red cross at the top left corner. I can't open them. What did I do wrong? Thanks for your help.

You have left spaces in your file names.. rename them.. reinsert them and publish again.

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to do with the page, but here's what I see:

            1. Links that don't link. The text in your links highlight, but don't call for anything. I guess you are planning on adding the URLs later?

            2. The big box in the middle calls for http://www.quatre-feuilles.info/index. That won't work because you need an extension (e.g., index.html). But why would you want your index page to appear in that box?

Other than that, I don't see any indication that there are even broken images on this page. I'm viewing in Fire Fox.

Hi Tom, the first link should work, I don't know why it doesn't..
The other links will be added later indeed. But when I open the website, I don't see the first link neither the image, do you?

I just linked the first button, then you will see a page where half of the images disapeared ?? But I'm glad to see that the link works already. I only have to find the answer for the lost images.

Re: No images on website ??

Hello. Actually, Karen's post above has the correct answer.

Here is a typical link to a photo that doesn't show: http://www.quatre-feuilles.info/phot...g%C3%AEtes.JPG.

See those %s? Those represent spaces. The Internet doesn't do well with spaces. Although a name with spaces will work sometimes, it usually doesn't. Rename all your images by removing the spaces and relink to the new names. This also applies to the buttons you are using for navigation links; some have spaces.

Hi, i noticed that your links are also using a French type face. IE: gîtes
This will also effect your links to images.
                        Regards Chris.
