    Published, now what?

I have published my site, built with another software. When I go to cpanel & click on files manager I don't find anything in the public-html folder except for cgi-bin no records found. When I look in assets, under dyna buttons & html, I see all my pages. Do I need to move the folders to public-html befor the site can be viewed?

Sorry if these questions aren't specific enough but I am a newbie to the website stuff

You should only be using the public_html directory or any folders that it contains. (on the vodahosted servers)
    Have fun

That's what I thought after viewing the BV publishing Tutorial(/home/vhtpaxmd)
      access-logs

      assets

      DynaButtons

      etc

      html

      mail

      public_ftp

      public_html

      tmp

      www
When I open the file manager on my cpanel, the above is what is to the left side of the screen. When I open assets, Dynabuttons & html, all my wbsite info (for lack of not knowing exactly what to call it) is in those files. If I expand assets, it opens up like this & there are files in images, swf & photogallery
      assets

      images

      swf

      connectors

      photogallery

I have no clue what I need to do?????

          Re: Published, now what?

With the software I am using, these are the options I get when publishing
Server Type, Profile Name, Directory, User Name, Password & Live URL

If I click on Advanced, I have File Naming, Aliases & Advanced FTP tabs

Under the Aliases tab is the only place I see the word path & it has URL Path & FTP Path

Umm.. YEAH that would be it..... the live url would be your domain name...user name and password.. path would be public_html

What are you using to publish? I hope its not Visual Basic..cuz it wont work...unless all your extenstions are html
