can't save page

i had to build a new home page, but it won't save (overrite the old index page). what am i doing wrong?

Use "save as" and rename it

this will close the original

repeat above and name it index and that will overwrite your original

file menu >> Save As >> name it (index)
if it doesn't replace on previous file, then save it in a new folder and publish it.
