Hi there, http://www.akhal-tekespain.com i am ready to publish my pages but i do have a question first. Am i correct to think that my index page is to remain totally blank? I have a home page that i have name linked as index is that right? Thanks for any help. Jill

No...

The page you want people to see when they find your website must be named index. No extension or capital letters.

ok thanks, im slightly confused, so should i have put all my `home page´ info onto what is the ìndex´page in the bv folder? and if thats the case can i simply delete the index page and then change the name of the prepared home page to index?

Hi,

The "index" page that you design and then publish to public_html/ is your homepage.

Who or what gave you the idea it should be "blank"?

If it is blank it will be non-functional.

Dot be afraid. Go ahead and publish your index page and see how it goes.

If you find mistakes just republish over the existing index.
