Difficult to answer. Your home page comes up ok but none of the links are working. I suggest you use the links tool (Tools-verify links) and make sure your pages are titled in BV exactly as included in the button link, ie all small case no capitals etc. The site map is also in tools and you don't see it within your site but can check it is there by with your site name/sitemap.xml....it does show by the way I just checked it
You must use the PUBLISH icon within Blue Voda to publish your pages, and upon clicking the proper icon, you will need to indicate which Server you have been assigned to your VodaHost Hosting Account, along with your unique User name and Password that was also included in your Confirmation Email.
You can only publish a Blue Voda created web page to VodaHost servers, meaning you must have a paid Hosting Account with VodaHost!
To publish your sitemap, you must first generate one (you do that free at www.xml-sitemaps.com in under 5 minutes) and then using Blue FTP -- located in Blue Voda under TOOLS-- you will manually upload that sitemap.xml file to your public_html/ directory.
*HINT: Do not create or upload your sitemap.xml file until you have completed publishing your entire website, with all changes and updates already finished .... the Search Engines "verify" your website against the sitemap.xml file, and if there are differences they will count against you!
After every change, update, or new page you make, always remember to create a new sitemap.xml file and upload it to reflect optimal accuracy!
hi
dont have a page untitled, the main page is called index! just tried the tool for links and they come up with url not found! they are all in lower case. also i have paid for the domain and account.
thankyou
Hi
1. Have just checked the site again and the "thank you & links" link is working and it seems the links on that page are also ok. I didn't check them all though.
2. The other links are not working though! check the following:-
Have you actually published the page?
Ensure the extension (ie after the .com/ is exactly the same as how you have saved it in BV....I noticed the link to Bunny Heaven is spelt in the html as "previousvisters.html" if you spelt it correctly when you saved the page in bv i.e. previousvisitors it won't be found!
Regarding the untitled page you should right click on the page and open up Page Properties and title the page as well as adding the meta tags and page details in the boxes provided. Your page is .index but when the page is viewed in IE you will see a box on the top left side immediately above your page where it says "untitled" That is because you have not given the page a title. You need to give it one like "Odies warren for rabbits home page" or something similar. This is for SEO optimisation as is the page description and meta tags which you also need to do an all pages individually.....giving each page its own title, description and meta tags.

HI you have to publish your index page to "public_html/" first before you can validate your link.
Not sure what you mean by "index page does have public html"?
In Blue Voda how have you saved the pages you now want to link to? The first link should have been saved as "whoswho.bvp" for your whos in warren 1 link. No capitals, spaces commas, full stops etc. If that is how it has been saved it should work assuming you have published it.
Have you recived your welcome e-mail if yes you have to login to the proper server with your user name and the pass code that you got in the welcome e-mail And I look at your site everything is looking and working fine.
Let it simply be best to suggest to this new User to study the Blue Voda Tutorials rather than experment with each step at a time only to post a "problem" in the Forums???
These issues would be cleared up quickly if this User would simply follow the step-by-step directions in the Tutorials without diviation or trying to guess, not that it is clear that a hosting account is required to Publish!
hi!
i have studied the tutorials all the way through setting up this website!! many times. have followed each step.
its only the last part that there are problems and that i dont understand!!
at this point in time i am really regreting purchasing with bluevoda! if i had the money would have paid someone else to do it!!! but as a charity dont work that way!!!!!!!

Blue Voda is distributed FREE, and if you purchased a hosting account to publish your Blue Voda created web pages to, there is nothing faulty with the products or services delivered and only with procedures regarding the usage of them.
You must use the PUBLISH icon within Blue Voda to publish your pages, and upon clicking the proper icon, you will need to indicate which Server you have been assigned to your VodaHost Hosting Account, along with your unique User name and Password that was also included in your Confirmation Email.
Since you are not publishing your pages to an "add-on" domain but to the domain you listed as PRIMARY when you established your account, simply leave public_html/ just as you see it in the PUBLISH Dialog box.... change nothing! Blue Voda will automatically publish your pages to the proper Directory of your Account.
Be sure you have correctly made DNS changes at your UK Domain Registrar to point to your VodaHost servers, otherwise you will not see your website (because it will not be found!).
Do not add any extensions to your Pages when you save them (i.e. save your index page simply as "index"; save your about_us page simply as "about_us" etc.). Blue Voda automatically creates the proper page extensions it requires and will publish them to the right place as always, providing you specify the correct server and enter the proper User Names and Password.
NOW .... a different process (as mentioned before) to publish a sitemap ....
