preview with hyperlinks

how can i preview my entire site including hyperlinks?
for example, my "home" page has a link on it to the "contact" page, but i cant seem to figure out how to preveiw the link itself. i can preview each page seperately. i want to be able to click the link and have the "contact" page come up.
or is this simply not possible?

Not possible, unless the pages are actually published the links wouldn't work as previewing loads a local copy on your computer. If you have a link its attempts to load a file on your website not your own computer.
