basically lost

ok. i built an extremely simple page using "blue voda".
i bought a domain name www.jacobsolomont.com and got a webhosting account.
the following day vodahost confirmed my order and emailed me all my login information:

Control Panel & BlueVoda Publishing Details:
YOUR IP ADDRESS 208.43.222.137
CONTROL PANEL LOGIN URL http://208.43.222.137/cpanel
MASTER USERNAME xxxxxxxx
MASTER PASSWORD xxxxxx

now, when i go into blue voda and hit the publish button:
1) my ip dosent match any of the ip addresses in the dialog box.
2)when i put in my username and password (as seen above) i get a 12014 error- supplied password is in correct
3)when i logged on to my website control panel (atleast that worked) i uploaded the .bvp file, but was unsuccessful in any way shape or form to get that file to show up as my homepage. file name: index.bvp

please help

redownload and install blue voda again, ips are added regularly, you may not have the latest version ..

you publish your files, not upload them .. also you need to publish to public_html ... your main domain ..

you ought to send off a support ticket and ask them to reset your account,you have a bit of this and that going on that might be a bit complicated for you to tend to .. so send off a ticket seeking help with clearing your account ... support@vodasupport.com
