Publishing issues..please help www. vs no www

I changed the contents of two websites this morning. Both of these sites were working fine prior to the changes. After changing the content I published them to the correct public_html directory and they seem to be working.. However, when I used the http://www.webname vs just the webname without the www, I get the new and the old content.. The www shows the old content, whereas when I just put the webname in IE address bar I get the new content. ?? Don't understand, because when I published the changes blue voda only allows me to publish it one way. public_html.webname.

when publishing your file, the folder you publish to should be public_html/webname.com and not public_html.webname.
