404 index.html missing

Ok, I just lost my index.html in my File Manager. Now when I am on my site, I can't click home to the index.

Can someone help me ASAP?

Ok, I just created a file in the manager. Then I edited the code and placed the page html. It works but is this is a quick fix? A better way?
