Uploading files via ftp & publishing

    Hello

I'm trying to publish a 9MB video on one of my pages, but it takes ages to publish. I understand that I can do this via ftp to fasten the process, so I uploaded the video to the folder where I'm publishing the page. What am I supposed to do now? If I try publishing the page with "only changes made", even tho the video is in the destination folder, it starts uploading the whole video once again.

    Thanks in advance!

Oh I forgot... I always fail to upload the file via BV... always says connection failed or timed out.

Upload the video as you have done, then enter the url of the video in the file name box. Save & republish.

successful rate is higher using key Enter than mouse to click publish
and my daytime is easier for my page to get published.
you can set connection time out longer by going to Tools > Option> Publish

          Thanks guys for the replies

For the future: I have discovered the solution (besides yours)... Upload the file via ftp, add the item on BV and publish only HTML changes.

          Again, thanks!

You said to write the url of the video which was already uploaded... I simply published with the HTML
