Re-publishing site from different Html Generator PROBLEM...

Is this supposed to be a problem?
I have site hosted on Vodahost, created in Bluevoda...no issues for
    two years or more.
I recreated the site in a program that I use for other sites (not sure if
I can name it here) but it is a Web Builder program that is similar to
    Bluevoda.
I want to publish the new site to VODAHOST...it should just publish over
    the old pages.
When I enter the IP, the username, password, etc....it tests ok and even
    says successfully published when complete.
Only problem...nothing changes. Old site is still there. And yes, I've cleared
cache and done all of that.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for your help.

You haven't posted a link to your site so this is just a guess. If your new site was made as .php and the site you want to overwrite is .html, then you haven't overwritten it as you expected.

A quick test would be to type in the browser www.yoursite.com/index.html, then type www.yoursite.com/index.php

If 2 sites come up, then you'll have to delete from the server the pages you no longer want (probably the .html ones)

What field in this builder do you enter the ip address in? Does it say host? if so just enter www.yoursite.com
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

          I've done that as well..
          I've also entered vodahost's url
(in that same program, wb6, I usually enter *******.com as the
other sites I do are hosted with *******)
Either way that I do it (my site or voda) it says successfully published.
          But not.

Okay, I may not have explained myself very well.
My old site (actually it is our church's site)
              is

(I know this is a crazy setup but the actual domain name,
faithharvestchurch.net is hosted elsewhere and redirects
to this site, above. I am eventually going to have it all in
              one place)

But I have COMPLETELY built a new site using WB6 because
I use it for a lot of other sites.

In Bluevoda there is an automatic publish feature, as you know,
and you put in the IP address, username, password.

In WB6 it is the same except it also asks for the host (god*****.com)
This works fine with all of my other sites.

Anyway, when I plug in the information in WB6 and do the 'test'
it says password, etc is good, and when I publish it says
              published successfully.

I know I'm probably missing something simple, but I'm missing it.

Try the following if you have tried everything else.

Using FTP, check your files on the server.

Check your files for spelling. You might know the difference,
                  if any, right away.

Also when you publish, check date and time.

Without looking at your files at the host, you would be in the
dark as to what went on.

Delete the "index.html of the old page in your "public_html".
