error 550 can't change directory

error 550 can't change directory ....no such file or directory.
Is the message I keep getting.
I have more than one web address (all hosted here) and have tried entering
www.myaddress.com and also myadress.com in the "folder" box but its not working.
I'm sure its something simple...it always is! but what am I missing?

550 error means you are publishing to a directory that does not exist...Are you trying to publish to your public_html or something else?

Thank you for replying. I'm trying to publish to my public_html/xxxxxx.net. I can successfully publish to my public_html/anotherxxxx.com but for some reason I can't publish to this one. Its not my first time publishing and this in an updated page which exists already.
I've updated BV and done everything else I can think of short of raising a support ticket.
Any ideas?

and I've checked in FTP and a directory does exist.
Not sure what to do/try next.

Solved it myself! Told you I was missing something simple. DON'T put the . whatever on the end
