problems publishing

I normally publish without any problems but after the holidays, I seem to be having problems. Including the error messages I get. Anyone know what this is?

Publishing Fails in Windows 8.1

Since the last auto upgrade from Microsoft for Windows 8.1 I am unable to publish pages to any of my websites.
I opened a support ticket only to be told they can't help me and to post a thread here.

I can still publish via my old pc which runs XP.

I have also downloaded the latest BV and set the publish engine to winsock, but this too has failed.

Any ideas anyone?

If you have followed the detailed directions precisely and are still having issues, it is singularly your system, and nothing anyone can assist you with remotely.
