Problem with saving

Can somebody pleas help me
! After adding pictures, links and so. I pushed publish and then i saw a messeg: "You must first save this page in order to publish it". After saving I pusher "publish" again and i had the same messeg. What can I do? Pleas help me!

Exit BV. Restart it, open the page you want to publish and try again.

when i first downloaded version 8 it seemed ok then all of a sudden I cannot publish at all, cannot upload using ftp tool, files missing in ftp... tried to publish a test page using a blank doc. and it keeps teling me to save page before publishing even though i already have saved.. restart does not solve this problem for me... these problems came with version 8... never had problems with 7
