I like phpwcms or joomla or exponent(not available in fantastic)
This option sounds like a great tool for managing your business. I haven't
yet finished my site building, so I think I'll need to come back here when I'm done with the building aspect.
Just what I needed to see, more tunnel before the light. LOL
I seldom post because I am a lurker. However, it seems that wordpress is a very good cms programme if you know how to read php. There are plugins for directory submission and pings, also for lots of others. Of course, wordpress is weak in security so is not recommended for mission critical projects, unless you know security programming.

LOL....apparently this is your first post!
WordPress is a blog, and naturally has features to alert for posts and entries, but is not a CMS utility that has anything close to the functionality that CMS tools like Joomla, phpNuke, etc. have at the core of their design: it pays to know the difference, and to select a solution based on planned use or identified need!
You right its my first, (I was slacking too long that I feel guilty now).
WordPress is a great blogging programme, but I came across using Wordpress as cms sometime ago and it rocks!
Step 1: Create a Special Category
Step 2: Make Some Posts under this Category
Step 3: Modify Main Index Template of the Theme
Step 4: Turn off Commenting on Front Page Posts
Step 5: Populate Some Data
Step 6: Create Category Pages
Step 7: Add Some Description to Each Category Page
...more(too much to show here)
Wordpress got all the plugins but what I do not understand is why folks think that joombla is more superior?
