    Buying software

I'm breaking down folks. I thought programming php would be easy. HA!
I can't seem to use any of the CMS software provided here to get the job done, so I'm considering buying Efriends or phpFox. Does anyone have any experience with these community based software packages?
I need to combine a user searchable profile system with multiple pics, video, resumes (like Myspace, phpFox, etc), with news, forums, chat, and an online magazine with RSS feeds. I'm leaning towards buying Efriends and Article Manager Pro from Alstrasoft and combining the databases.
Anyone have any better ideas/solutions for me?

Don't even consider coding something from scratch (way too much hassle), for a couple hundred bucks you can but the script you need. eFriends looks pretty good.

Wow. Thanks for the quick response. AND for confirming my decision about Efriends. I'm sure it has bugs and problems like everything else, but it looks pretty solid. We'll see shortly.
