    Wordpress

    Hi

I'm sorry to be asking these questions, but after a search through the forums I still couldn't find my answers.

I can't get WP to open on my site and I'm not clear where I should have the file saved. At present I have it saved in the main file at public_html in File Manager. When I link from WP admin to "view site" (www.samhill.biz) it opens my current website home page, not the blog. I am assuming it should default to WP when navigating from WP admin. Wrong assumption?
NB: The website only has an index page as yet. None of the links work.

My objective is to have WP open as a journal and news page from a link from the home page. Is this possible? If so, where do I save the WP file and what name should I give it so this will happen?

    Thank you.

      Thank you General,

I think this is what you are asking... http://samhill.biz/wp-admin/

I'm not sure if this is the address you want. I can't seem to log into anything else (this page and my website only)

        Re: Wordpress

Okay, I uninstalled and reinstalled, giving WP a directory name. I seem to have solved the problem.

        Thank you for assistance.
