blog setup

Have spent the past 12 hours trying to put a blog on my website
would like to have it as an existing page format but this does not appear to be possible
would happily have as a frame on page but can't get rid of heading
have viewed loads of instructions and all are as clear as mud
especially the blue voda tutorial
please help as am losing the will to live

I found the blog in the c panel
but thats when the problem started
would like to have blog as same format as web page but that all seems way to advanced so decided to just put it in a frame on my web page
not as nice I know but at least would do the job
If I do this though I would not want the header but can't figure out how to delete
