help with uploading template

I downloaded a free template for my wordpress blog but I don't understand how to up load it onto the actual blog

can anyone provide instructions or direct me to the tutorial that explains how to do it?

If you have 2.5 or 2.5.1 version of WordPress, click on "Design" instead of Presentation as shown on the tutorial. Everything else is the same.
