If I have done a blog in one word press theme and then I change the theme later, will it delete the work in the order blog? (posts, widgets, datafeeds, other coding?) In other words, will I have to start all over again?

No.. it shouldnt delete MOST things.. however, some things may not be compatible with it .. or it may not be compatible with that version of word press.. so make sure you carefully check the theme version for the template pack.
