    Wordpress 3.0 Upgrade Error Message

I would like to upgrade to Wordpress 3.0 but I get the following error message:

"There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct."

I chose "Upgrade Automatically" and then it displays my correct Vodahost hostname and Username and asks for my password, which I assume is the same one as my C-Panel login. But that's when I get the above error message.

Can anybody shed any light on this problem, and how I can fix it? Thanks!

The password for your wordpress is what you first entered when you installed the wordpress program.

If you have lost that password than you have a problem.
