Adsense in WordPress?

I would like to insert "code " for Adsense just below the Header, and Also on the sidebar of WordPress?
I have searched ALL the Posts, and cannot seem to find the solution.
I am sure it is a simple procedure, but i am asking for a little advise.
Has anyone done this before?

Usually, just get the html code from ad sense & paste it into a html box in BV. (side menu bar, top left). When the html box opens just double click on the box & paste it into the new window. Some ads wont show in preview, so you may have to publish it to see them.
