Any ideas for this guys? (and Gals obviously!!!)

    Hi all,
OK, so i have a logo for a website i am building from a friend, unfortunately she has created it using Powerpoint! What is the best program to import this to so that the image can be a high quality image that can be enlarged, used in slideshows etc....
I have tried saving the slide as a JPEG but it distorts when shrunk to the required sizes.

    Any help much appreciated!

    P.S. Loving the upgarades Voda!

    Kev.

You might have a read through Chris's photo tips and you also might try a .png format ...

you could also use a screen capture software like snagit to capture the page on screen then crop the image within any good image editing software like fireworks.

I'd try a Print Screen (prt Scrn) screen shot from your keyboard and paste it into something like MSPublisher or PaintShop Pro then crop it. It's worth a try. I have just tried it on a screen shot from here and it works well - the quality is good.

Oh yes, i forgot about the print screen option, much cheaper. lol Just in case the print screen button doesn't work, as in my case, you could bring the on-screen keyboard up by doing the following:
          • Click on the start button (bottom left of your screen)
          • Click on Programs
          • Click on Accessories
          • Click on Accessibility
          • Click on On-Screen keyboard
Once you have this up just move it to somewhere on screen other than on your image and click the PSC button at the top. This will take a screen capture and then all you do is paste into your image editor.
