Looking for free image zipper

Hi anybody know of a freeware program for compressing files and folders ? I am putting some downloads on my site but they are quite large and need to be zipped.

Hi, many are using winzip, but its not free http://www.winzip.com/index.htm.
I noticed your site was about images/photos. Zipping them won’t reduce them very much. At least not jpg files. It will only take it down by 10% if you’re lucky. But will reduce many other files. The one above gives you a free try, so worth a look.

Thanks for that. I know it cannot shrink them too much but every little helps.
