  • Transparent Background

Can someone tell me how to make the background of the attached image transparent, not white as it appears now.

Please look at my home page @ www.forgetmenotusa.com to see image on top left corner.

Maybe all I have to do is rescan the ribbon using a red background?

    Thanks!!!

    Re: Transparent Background

If you open your image in a paint program like paint.net, you can 'erase' the background, or color it whatever color you want. If you erase it, and then save as a .gif it can be transparent.
Or as you say you can rescan it against another color.
But if you use a red background the border won't show, so it will look entirely yellow.

      Re: Transparent Background

I rescanned the image using a red file folder for background. Using the Photo Gallery I was able to make a border around each. And the visitor can click on image to enlarge for more detail.

How do you think it looks now?
