    animated backgrounds

    hi, i'm steve. i'm trying to build a site to display swimming pools, i would really like to build my site on top of a "moving" background of sun d*****d water. that's the easy part...how do i do it? that's the difficult part. can anybody assist me?

    Hi Steve, Royb has a link on his site to a tool you can use to add rippling effects to a photograph ... once you have your image you could try this - there are a few things you will need to consider, the size of the overall image, where you apply this, whether it will be too large and cause page loading problems, in any case, have a look and see if it's something you could use even if not for an entire background ..

        thanks ladyeye and royb, i've collected the program and i can now "play" with it to see if it will do what i want. great.
