different cursor

i have a html code for a different mouse cursor which i got free of another website. is it a good idea to use it or not i dont want it to pop up with an advert every time people look at my website if that is possible with a html code not sure.
if you think it is alright to apply where should i put html code in
start of page
between head tag
inside body tag
begining body tag
or other
