    logo display problems

    I have copied my logo from page to page so they are all the same.
    Recently after some changes & republishing not all pages are loading correctly.

    When I preview it all comes up fine.

    working page ==> http://www.aguycanbeach.com/cdadentrada.php

    non-working page ==> http://www.aguycanbeach.com/cdaddocs.php

    I have also noticed that the thumbnail links on .../cdaddocs.php do not work

    anybody know why?

    Re: logo display problems

    Its best NOT to copy images page to page.. but rather make a template page..with everything you want on it including navigation and logos.. and then clone that page when you build a new one. You need to insert the logo on every page rather than copy it as you are doing....same on the docs page.

      Re: logo display problems

      I am not sure what you mean by insert the logo.

      I copied my logo since all my pages were already completed with logo, menu bar, images, etc.
      My logo initially was a banner but figured out doing it better with the logo option.

      I created it in the first page and copied it to all the subsequent pages, and most work.

      When I preview it it works fine!

      When I post it the background/color disappears, the font as well as the size & color change.
      Seems that nothing in my documents page works; logo, thumbnail links, menus...

        Re: logo display problems

        Karen meant that the problem is because you probably did the Windows "copy and paste" with your logo, etc., to the various pages. A much more reliable way is to insert images (via the icon on the tool bar) each time. To save having to insert them in the same place on more that one page, create a page just the way you want it then do a "save as" for each new page or clone as she said.

          Re: logo display problems

          I have resolved the problem with the logo...

          somehow the page was being saved as a html file

          Now I have a new(old) problem which I did not notice previously.

          My page contains 2 menu bars; one at the top of the page the other at the bottom. Both are place with a html box. I have copied the text from the upper to the lower again just to be sure they link to the same cdadmenu.html file but the bottom one does not work.

          It has no other text over it & is within the page borders.

            Thanks Tom, the problem was that I had 12 pages completed with text, pics, links & menus.
