When you clone a page it will be exactly like the page that was cloned. So say you want the index page cloned when done the page name would be index clone. I clone a page when I want to make a new page and delete what was on the page except for th menu links and the header I find it easier to do this to make a new page and I rename it new page so when all is done with the page that is new saved pages as say page 3 you still have that clone page that you named it's like using a template.

Clone page is a great tool. I used it throughout my websites. It ensured me that my buttons etc stays exaclty on the same spot on every page.

When you use clone page, just remember to change your meta tags etc and page titles.
