    Graphics problem

Hi, This is the first web site that I have built, and I have been told by numerous people that when they look at the web site on the net some of the graphics overlap the text. This also happens when I change the page zoom level on my PC, but it does not happen on other web sites that I have looked at, can anyone help please.
    many thanks

Whatever your problem is, I have just viewed your bullet proof website with IE8 and there is nothing wrong with it.

Overlapping usally happens on some browsers when the font option has not be set up properly and reverts to the default and also when you do not use web friendly fonts which the browser is allowed to substitute.

Looking at your your webpage, my opinion is that it is too wide and should be reduced to 800 width to avoid side scroll on laptops.

Thanks for your comments, if I reduce my page width to 800, will I get a border at each side, also I am using a 19" widescreen laptop does that make any difference.

        Hi,
I'm with FF and I have to say the page looks terrible! Too much side-scroll & nearly all the images lie over great chunks of text.
I'd take Zuriatman's advice & redo with a "safe"font - and reduce the page width.

Thanks Ahimsa for your feed back, as I said this is my first time at website building so its all a learning curve for me, can you explain in simple language for this newbie, what do you mean by using a safe font.
          thanks

Thanks you all for your very useful info, I will change to a safe font, and reduce my page width and see if that makes any difference.
If there's anything else I can try feel free to let me know.

Hi again, what is FF?, also have another look and see if you think there's any improvement.

                  Re: Graphics problem

You need to reduce your page width from 1143 to nearer 785-985px.
FF is the Fire fox browser. This link may also help.
                  Regards Chris.

Hello again, and thanks for all the help so far, but I still have the problem of graphics overlapping, when I review my website in VH review mode or on the web, its seems ok in 100% zoom level on my PC, but if I change to 125% zoom some of the graphics overlap the text, is there anything else that can be done to fix this problem?
                    regards Alex

                        Edwin Chia,

You are using one of those get rich quick scripts for your page I assume? You page looks squeezed and you look squeezed and out of focus.

If yo are using scripts then you have to edit the sripts.
