there used to be a site called "homestead".

I am pretty sure you are confusing a hosting provider with a photo gallery provider, Glenn.
Last time you visited us was in 2006, and a lot has changed in the online world since then!

A lot of people are using online resources like Flickr, Picasa, and Shutterfly these days, but as a VodaHost hosting client, you have JAlbum and Coppermine photo galleries that auto-install via the Fantastico! section of your Hosting Control Panel ... for FREE.

Why would you consider using anything else?
