    Help Formatting BV Template

I found the perfect template that I absolutely love....but I am having some issues. I figured out to add content to template, but the problem I am having is not enough room on the template and I tried stretching it so it is longer length wise, but when I do that the template distorts when I do this! Is there a way to make template longer without distorting to add more content??

    Please help me!!

    Re: I really need help

In BlueVoda, you can add as a layer over the template 'page area' a [rectangular] SHAPE which has been colored the same as the initial 'page area' using the Eye-Dropper Color Sampler, which can then be "stretched" to whatever length as needed.

If the Left Gutter area is "shaded" and also too 'short' for your needs, simply duplicate the same method to add a same solid-colored SHAPE to precisely lay over the entire gutter area starting from the top so you can "stretch" this to the required 'length' as well.

Ok, I think I am kind of understanding what you said, but having a hard time exactly figuring out how to do it with the template I am wanting to use! I published a test page with the template I want to use! http://make-money-from-home-2013.com/template1.html

Can this be done with this template?

Not exactly .... you will have to "assemble" the Template using 3 distinct pieces in order to "stretch" the center Body section to size according to the required area for Content.

I have already created the 3 distinct sections for you to use, and using the links below, you can copy down the images to your computer to then import them onto your pages to achieve the effect you need:

This thread should be seen by many, as it fully describes the 2 methods of "customizing" BlueVoda pages using static image Templates, and the differing logic that are required to use to get the results that are commonly sought.

Ok, got the images! Thank you so much for your help!! What is the recommended width for a website to be? Last question, for this template, what color would be best to use for backround color? Thank you again for your help! I appreciate it very much :)

                Re: Help Formatting BV Template

Maximum recommended page width is 985 pixels, and this one is fine as-is at just over 800.

Because this Template has shadowed edges, and when contrasting to this hue of pink, a white background looks best, as it is clean and crisp and not too hard to look at. The only alternative is to experiment with an ivory to very light grey backgrounds, but a white (or dominant white) will always work best. IMO.
