I recently received this notice from a Canadian drop ship supplier;
"US Border and Protective Services have recently instituted regulations requiring all import shipments into the US be accompanied by Tax ID information. As such, we have added a line to our online order form and ask that you include your TAX ID information when placing your orders. This number can be:
a) Federal Tax ID (NotState)
b) EIN number
c) IRS number
d) Social Security Number (if acting as sole proprietor).
Just thought I'd let the Canadian folks know. This has been in the wind for a bit.
