    Business Contracts

    Hi:

I am presently working on several contracts to our multi business network.

I would like to know some HowTos on writing specific contracts.

List of contracts which I am interested in creating:

    Commercial Invoice
    Web Development Contract
    Service Contract
    Letter of Intent
    Fees
    Maintenance Fees
Events Beyond the Control ofYour business
    Maintenance and Correction of Errors
    Extent of Work
    Consequential Loss
    Status and Duration of Offers
    Search Engine Listings
    Completion of WorkSupply of Materials
    Approval of Work
    Rejected Work
    Payment
    Remedies for Overdue Payment
    INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
    Offers and Proposals
Warranty by Client as to Ownership of Intellectual Property Rights
    Licensing for Use of Website
    Trade Secrets

Right to Terminate Either Party May Terminate (valid reason for termination)

    Jurisdiction

    Survival of Contract
(Where one or more terms of the said contract are held to be void or unenforceable for whatever reason, any other terms of the contract not so held will remain valid and enforceable at law.)

    Change of Terms and Conditions
(These terms & conditions may change from time to time. The Client will be informed of revisions as and when they are issued).

Any help for the above will be greatly appreciated.

What I am looking for is a legal contract based on the above.

    Thank you

    Re: Business Contracts

I would suggest you spend $30 and purchase a CD with thousands of Legal Contracts just as you describe already written form a place like www.Staples.com or the like.

You can then easily modify one to meet your particular requirements and verbiage.

One of the nice features in these CD's is an ehaustive "Reference" section that offers explanations and background to each of the items and contents presented, so you can understand what you are looking at as you make "edits" you are compelled to make.
    * The "Help" sections are not intended to be in any way a substitute for legal counsel, however.

      Vasili:

Thank you for your information. Will check out Staples as well as other places to see what type of products they would have in reference to the contracts mentioned.

Indeed always when dealing with contracts one must never forget to consult a legal person that deals with contracts. What we may think is enough information to put into a contract, a legal consultant may find there should be more added or removed.....

Contracts are a good product to have but if they are not created correctly they can be more hassle then simply not having one. And in this day and age when people are suing just because it is easier to do so and for just about everything that a lawsuit can be brought up on oneself. A good contract id worth the money invested....

      Thank you again.
