well I just redid my site and am attempting to take a crack at SEO tips and techniques...i tried adwors before and ended up spending a lot..so I am trying other things first

any tips? if someone wou not mind taking a look at my site and offering feedback which may help my page rank!

If you read the SEO section of the forum, you can learn a lot. I just gave you plenty of things to do on your site review. And start by reading

A couple of things that I noticed were in your meta tags it looks like you pressed "Enter" after each word. This pushes your "body" further down the page. The closer to the top of the page you can get the body the better for the search engines.

Also you could make use of the <h?> tags for your site. These are read as headlines by the search engines and are deemed as more important for your site.
