Hi I just wondered as my blog appears in my site map, appears in my stats for visitors and there is a direct link from my main site to it, does updating this keep the search engines happy?
I was told from the very start to keep them happy to add and update information, this is fine to a point but can get difficult and I don't want to end up with too many pages, just adding for the sake of it.
I don't however mind updating the blog every week or so and this keeps my main site uncluttered and full of the information I want to give to people, is this good enough to keep the search engines happy or do I need to concentrate on my main site.
One quick other question, what sort of time scale and amount of info would be around average to keep them coming back and be happy? Probably and open ended question.
Thanks for any info
Paul
P.S Sorry this post maybe in the wrong section, it should have maybe gone into the search engine section...by all means move it if required, my mistake.
