As always, THANKS VODAHOST for being the BEST! Just a quick question: anytime we update our site (add new links, etc), should we then re-run ROR, too (and thus upload the new file via Blue FTP)?
Also, do we just open a support ticket when we are ready to take advantage of our one-time search-engine submission which is part of our hosting package?
Hello to ***** and Sarah, too--you all are just too helpful for words!!! Thanks in advance for the info; have a great day!
One sitemap generator is enough, if your happy with your current one, there is no need to switch over.
Because I've had little luck with Google, (other SEs, OK) I decided to add ROR. According to their instructions, after creating the xml site map & uploading, I tried to insert the link
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="ROR" href="ror.xml" /> into theHEAD portion by going to "Page HTML", picking the tab "Between Head Tag", and pasting it (it appears in the HEAD section) & publishing. Now when I go to my site and right click to "view source", the code appears in the "body" portion. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? My site is http://www.trencon.com
