    Re: Sitemap problems

    Hello,
I have used xml-sitemaps.com to generate a site map but in the result report, it seems that only one page is listed despite me having in excess of 60 pages on the site. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong?

Ive put the full site url in the correct box http://www.goingfishing.co.uk and also tried http://www.goinfishing.co.uk/index.html and the result is the same. The links to the majority of my other site pages are contained in a drop down "menu".
    Thanks
    John

I don't know who you are using to create your xml sitemap - but that might make the difference. I've never seen any of them use a drop down menu.

I've used a couple sources to create mine - here's one of them:
Free Online Google Sitemap Generator. XML-sitemaps.com provides free online sitemap generator service, creating an XML sitemap that can be submitted to Google, Bing and other search engines to help them crawl your website better. It will also generate an HTML site map to allow your website visitors to navigate easier.

Try it and see if you get the results you're looking for. Now I looked at your page - and you have a lot of pages that can only be found from a drop down menu. I don't believe the se's can read that - I don't know if the sitemap generators will either.
