Does preventing right/click view of info affect search engines?

Hi... What are the disadvantages or advantages of not allowing right/click view of page info? Will it affect ranking? Is it a good idea to do??.. Thanks Doug?

No, it is pretty annoying for the visitors, as it disables also other functions taht exist in the right click menu. It will NOT protect you from anything at all. The user who wants to see your page code, can disable javascript, and the right click will work again. (I even have a code "grabber" i created that allowes me to view the html source of ANY type of page)

      Doug,

You can also click View on the tool bar, choose source and its all moot anyway. I can also look in my temp files and find your whole page, so its mostly a waste of time to do it.
