    My pages are being crawled

    Hi Folks

Apologies in advance if this is a daft question.......

I registered my site at www.classic-bike-imports.com with Google and did the site map thing when it was first built and have since added pages and content and when I look on my Cpanel, it shows that only the original pages are getting viewed..... my guess is the other pages are being viewed but the views are not registering. Do I need to submit a new site map or take any other action please?

    Thanks in advance!

Re: Not all my pages are being crawled

Any time you make updates to a website, a new sitemap is required.

Additionally, the cached pages in any of the browsers only reflects pages and versions present when last visited. (To determine the apporximate date of the month SEs "cycle" your site, clink on "CACHED" and note the date of the page addition)

Thanks. I've now resubmitted a site map using the blue voda facility and altered the frequency to weekly, so will it just re-submit the map on a weekly basis now

Re: Not all my pages are being crawled

Be careful! I specifically said that after updates or notable changes a new sitemap is expected .... automatically submitting new maps without quantitative changes is considered an abuse of the system, commonly seen as "spamming the SE"!

I change the site about 3 times a week to add or remove machines or alter content in other ways anyway, so would that be acceptable to them?

              Hi
This is a bit of an unintelligent question, but, what are "cached pages"? What does the "cached" mean?

              Cheers

Its when then certain robots crawl your site it takes a snappshot of the page. Note not all robots that crawl your site take snapshots.
