How do I get my site up on the search engines?

Hi There, I'd like to say Thank you for having this wonderful place!
Okay, I just got my site published the way I want it so far.
But, I'd like to have it come up on the popular search engines at the top of the page. Any ideas?

Submit a support ticket asking Vodahost to submit your site to search engines. To improve things, create also a sitemap with relative xml file and upload it on your site, and, if possible, submit it to Google.
