What do I have to do in order to subject my website to SE ? VH has a one-time free submission packaged into the hosting account.

I have posted this query in the forum before and remembered getting a reply....however, sometime has passed and I simply cannot locate that thread anywhere.
So will you kindly point me in the right direction, so that I can start getting hits.
