    SiteReportCard understanding

    Hi,

I recently checked my website with "SiteReportCard" and found a number of HTML errors. I've reduced the number of errors to seven and would like to know how to get rid of these. (I really don't understand what they are)Here's the latest report:

    Re: SiteReportCard understanding

First off.. these are html WARNINGS.. not errors. There doesnt exist on the web the PERFECT website. The browser corrects and renders the web page correctly. 7 WARNINGS is GREAT. Ive seen sites that are highly visible and have HUNDREDS of errors mostly because of propietary coding.. meaning they develop or own a script generated for storebuilders or software, or sitebuilders, thats NOT open technology or open source.

The table attribute is a tag or a TITLE element of the the table that is used on your page. Its a summary or description of what is contained in the table itself. This goes back to the original usage of what tables were generated for in the first place, and MOST people dont use the tags or even KNOW the tags and attributes exist. You should be able to EDIT the table in properties and put this info in there if you really feel it necessary but its not. It will not affect your SE indexing or how your web page displays.

The URI refernces are propietary coding native to Blue Voda about how it renders and positions images on the web page. You really cant do anything about these unless you are a master at css coding and know all the values and properties of ABSOLUTE POSITIONING. I know alot .. but i wouldnt MESS with this nitemare unless I had a day or two to waste.

So... if you got a report card with ONLY 7 errors you are indeed doing well.

Thank you Karen! (I had a feeling it would be you who would answer).
Looks like I'll just forget about trying to fix these!
      Thanks again,
      Paul
