I got Billingham all over website but dont come up in search for that?

Hi,
I know some people are gonna go mad and think i haven't done tutorials etc.
But i'm still stuck on getting my page to come up better in search, especially google.
My site is www.billinghamcharitytrophy.com
I have Billingham in all my page titles and meta tags yet it doesn't come up in a search for just billingham.
It comes up top for a search for Billingham Charity Trophy
I've redone my meta tags and checked titles any advice
Having the site come up under a search for Billingham would be massive for me.

Hi, you might penalized by the SE’s for things like your keywords.
Each page should be treated as an individual page with keywords & titles only referring to that page. IE: On your front page, who are
Paul Truscott
Paul Shannon
Billingham wildcats
billingham players
As they are not mentioned within the text of the page at all & se,s wont like this.(SE’s cant read image text unless ALT text is included)But far better as plain old text.
Nice to have a motto! Might be good to add the English underneath

That helps me a lot, i've been adding them cos they are on the site or just other things from Billingham.
So i need to strip them away, anyone that isn't directly connected to each individual page, right??

Ps thanks for noticing the motto, first ever, it was to do with my Grandad, He was the hardest worker ever and it was also the motto for his hometown of West Bromwich in England. Its a true saying as well lol

I'm just starting the process of stripping my meta tags back.
I've just listed:

Billingham, Billingham Charity Trophy. Billingham Rugby Club, Billingham Hockey Club, Marsh House Harriers, , Paul Burgum,, billingham, billingham charity trophy, billingham bombers, Open Mic Night, Paul Shannon, Gary Burgum, Charity Trophy Meeting

These are my meta tags for my index page i would your feedback then i know i'm heading in right direction before changing rest of pages.

Hi, correct unless you use it within the actual text on the page (Not image)
Ah! Just seen your last post. As long as the text is within the page that you are using for your keywords & titles.

Got quite a few friends down this way from around the west/brom & wolves areas. You can imagine what the chat is about with wolves & w/brom with who was & who is. lol

There are 1,440,000 results returned for billingham
11,200 for Billingham Charity Trophy

You don't need too much about you to work out why it's easily bringing you up on page one for the latter.

You also need to look at your pages, you have NO text on them... what I mean is you have either turned all your text into image files or covered them with a transparent shape. You need to put TEXT content on your website!!

So all your keywords you have used in your meta data will NOT match what's on the page.
