    Site structure and Index page

Our index page is quite well optimised for Google, Yahoo, etc using keywords, H-tags, etc, and the BV-index page opens when someone arrives at the site after searching our keywords.

Now we want to redevelop the site so that a different page opens on arrival at the site, (ie a page without optimised content), and then a simple "click to enter" on the logo, etc takes visitors to the home / main page.

So, how is it done ?
How do we re-structure our internal links, etc ?

Re: Site structure and Index page

You would rename your index page to home page or something and design the intro to run as index. You would have to change your navigation to reflect the NEW homepage else it would go back to the intro.

Its done EXACTLY the same as you did it in the first place. You are basically adding a page and renaming one page.

      Hi Karen
That sounds easy enough. What would we do without these helping hands on the forum ? Many thanks . . . . . now we can go and play with designing a cool intro to our site.
