    Submission to search engines

My site is enitiate.co.za (previously published using a different server). I am currently using BV to rebuild my site and will be republishing it in a day or so.

I want to know whether I need to resubmit my sitemap (which has more than the previous one as per above note) to the search engines again given their stickiness regarding duplicate submissions?

    Re: Submission to search engines

You should not submit your site to Search Engines, nor submit new sitemaps more than once every 30-45 days.

You should create and upload a new sitemap after making significant updates or changes to your website, however, as this indicates your compliance level to the SE's in addition to listing the new information regarding the updates themselves.
The Rule of Thumb is create a new XML sitemap whenever you add a new page or 15% additional Content to your website, but never more frequently than a single bot cycle (which you can approximate by viewing the date of the last cache creation of your content by the SE).

        Hello Vasili,

Can you tell me why we shouldn't submit sites to search engines?
