ror - site map - does it look right

I have done a site map in accordance with the instructions in this forum but does it look right to you

    - f(clean);
    -

    -

ROR Sitemap for http://www.dargdaffin.co.uk/

    -

ROR Sitemap for http://www.dargdaffin.co.uk/

    <ror:about>sitemap</ror:about>

    <ror:type>SiteMap</ror:type>

    -

    <ror:updatePeriod>week</ror:updatePeriod>

    <ror:sortOrder>0</ror:sortOrder>

    <ror:resourceOf>sitemap</ror:resourceOf>

also I have to rename the file from ror to ror.xml to get the link to work - is this the right thing to do

    Cheers

    Scott

Why don't you let ror build it automatically ? It's easy to make a mistake and crawlers hate mistakes in sitemap files

      Hi

I did, using the program listed on the forum. It is something I know nothing about but I expected it to list all the pages linked from my home (index) page
thats why i was asking if it look right

      Cheers

Re: ror - site map - does it look right

Most sitemapers have difficulties in following links in menubars and nav bars. The best thing is to create a sitemap with all text links like www.navaldesign.info/sitemap.html and also put a direct link from index page to the sitemap page. I found out that this way, i got the best results. Of course i also uploaded the sitemap.xml file on my site and also submitted it to Google.
