What is the best way to generate traffic to my site? At the moment I am surfing for traffic but got a feeling this is a waste of time. At the moment i get between 350 to 550 visitors a day to my site but need a lot more to generate sales.

any good sites that you know of for decent traffic, the ones i use now are EASYHITS4U, TRAFFIC AD BAR and CLICKTHRU.

I am looking at Chris Farell website, but not sure what to do?

Mostly scams with fake stats...have yet to come across a good one.

For generating more traffic to your site follow these steps:
1. Optimize your site for search engine traffic.
2. Trying to get more backlinks on your website this may help to increase the traffic.
3. Improve your search engine ranking by focusing your content on keywords related to your topic.
4. Start your online discussion community. It could be an online message board, e-mail discussion list or chat room. When people get involved in your community, they will regularly return to communicate with others.
5. A regular article published on an industry website or in their publication is a great way to feature your company. Ensure they include a link to your website in the title or closing.
6. The most powerful marketing tool is still word-of-mouth. Give your best customers an incentive and/or a mechanism to tell their friends about your product or service. Some ideas include adding customers to an affiliate program and adding a ‘send-to-a-friend’ link on your website.

Since your site is a casino related have you searched for forums related to casino's where you can apply a signature to threads. That will help.

Never buy traffic to your sites it's a waste of time unless it;s a paid to click.

When you start to make a web page, complete your meta tags first. In particular your "Tile", "Description", and "Keywords"tags. When choosing a title, make sure it is unique to that page. Try to make at least one of your keywords show up in your title and that keyword should also show up in the body of your page. Try not to go overboard with keyword duplication (repeating the same keyword over and over), this is considered spamming by most search engines.
